I have been in the education field for more than 10 years. My educational journey started as a math teacher where I worked in various public and non-public schools for 5 years. Upon completing my graduate studies in special education, I became a learning consultant (LDTC). My role in the child study team generally includes determining the learning strengths and weaknesses of students, determining specific achievement levels in a variety of content areas, and recommending specific teaching methods and strategies that may benefit a student. I work in collaboration with other members of the child study team to determine eligibility for special services. I also consult with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to provide research-based instructional strategies to assist pupils struggling academically. I am glad to have the opportunity to serve the children of New Milford Community, and help them reach their full potential.
