Hello students and parents!

In class this year, we will hone ways of learning science where students ask their own questions, design their own experiments and model their understanding.

This way of learning science is challenging, but I feel that I bring a genuine, positive, and encouraging disposition to the classroom that facilitates engagement in this type of learning. I am keen to celebrate my student's growth as they work towards mastery of the science standards.

I am grateful of the hard work students will be putting in this year! Thank you in advance!!!

Science education has the rare opportunity to affect students’ civic, community, and global involvement by making real world connections and applying problem solving to issues that are affecting our planet. I view my role in the classroom as a facilitator who helps students make these connections, and who provides experiences that engage students in problem solving.
