Lauren Giannettino received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with an Elementary Education Certificate from William Paterson University. She continued her studies in postgraduate courses in language arts, math, and science. These classes allowed her to learn new strategies and enhance her teaching in the classroom.  Mrs. Giannettino has been teaching in Berkley Street School for 20 years.  She was awarded the Berkley Teacher of the Year for the 2008-2009 school year.  Mrs. Giannettino truly enjoys helping children find their potential and use their creativity.  This is something for which she has great passion.  With each new school year, she gets excited to see a new group of children eager to learn and excel!  Mrs. Giannettino builds a classroom where students can explore, feel safe, and most of all learn at their own individual pace and style.  She feels communication with parents and family is key to a successful, productive year.  “The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge.” Bertrand Russell
