I have had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten for 23 years in New Milford. I taught at B.F. Gibbs School for many years, and now I am a part of the Berkley Street School community.  I have a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Stockton University and William Paterson University.  

I LOVE kindergarten!  I truly enjoy teaching children to read, write and learn all about the world of math.  I love watching classmates become friends.  We grow together and learn a lot from each other throughout the school year!  

My goals for my students are for them to learn and give their best effort - all while feeling happy, safe, comfortable, challenged and successful at school. I strive to make our everyday learning experiences positive, fun and engaging for all of my students.  Kindergarten is such an important milestone in a child’s life!

When I am not teaching kindergarten, I enjoy spending time with my lovely family and amazing friends.  I also volunteer at a local animal shelter to help animals find their forever homes.  I love watching movies and playing miniature golf.  I love to hike, garden, cook, listen to music, collect seashells and read.
