Bridget Matos has been teaching in New Milford for 14 years. Mrs. Matos teaches students in grades second and third in both a resource room setting.  Mrs. Matos has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.  She holds Elementary Education Certification and Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement from Felician University. In 2020, Mrs. Matos became a Wilson Dyslexia Practioner. She continues to attend Wilson Language Professional Learning Trainings. Mrs. Matos feels that all students may not learn in the same way or at the same pace, but all students can learn. Mrs. Matos believes that all students bring experiences about the world to a learning situation.  These intuitive strategies students already have can be built upon to learn in a classroom.  In her free time, Mrs. Matos enjoys spending time in Cape May with her husband, son and daughter.
