Mrs. Ditinyak is a special education teacher at Berkley Street Elementary School.  She currently teaches students in kindergarten through second grade in the Resource Center.  Mrs. Ditinyak graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.  She went on to continue her schooling at Montclair State University and earn a Master of Arts in Teaching degree.  Mrs. Ditinyak holds two New Jersey Teaching Certifications:  Elementary Education (K-5) and Teacher of Students with Disabilities.  Working with diverse learners is one of her specialties and she is always learning creative and fun ways to engage her students.  Mrs. Ditinyak believes that students work best when information is presented in a multi-sensory and student-centered way.  

When Mrs. Ditinyak is not in the classroom, she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.  She is also an avid reader and enjoys reading everything from proffessional literature to children's books.  Mrs. Ditinyak hopes to instill a lifelong love of reading and learning in her students.
